Natural Rubber Pro XL

First, I was gratified to see that the color of this mat is such a beautiful Forrest Green. It's a pale, earthy green. Lovely. The mat is *enormous,* which was my goal. Upon trying it, however, I realized that this size is just excessive for my 5'8" 138 pound frame. My partner, a 6'2", 160 pound man, was really stoked about it though. The material is non-slip without being "sticky," which is a plus in my book. I did notice that there was a slight ... bubble effect?... when I used it on carpet. Not sure how to describe it. This was my first time trying a mat made of this material so I'm not sure if that's standard or not, or if it's due to using it on a carpet instead of a hard floor. People looking for a very cushiony mat will want to look elsewhere, this mat seems to be made for professional studio use. Bottom line: I was impressed with this mat even though it's not quite right for me. Pretty color, non-slip surface, enormous. If you're looking for an 84" x 30," 6mm thick mat, this is the mat for you.By the way, no one pays me or incentivizes me in any way to write these reviews; I just like to be helpful (and procrastinate on the things I should be doing).

Got this “yoga” mat on August 5th so I’ve had a few weeks to work with it. I’ve worked physical labor all my life, 12 hours on my feet is a regular thing, so you can imagine that when it comes to recovery some extra love and care for my body is sorely needed. I’ve always just used the mats they have at my local gym for warm ups, yoga, or different types of exercise routines. I go to the gym often enough that I decided to “invest” in my own gear that I can be in charge of cleaning rather than trusting the general public with that job. Browsed Amazon and came across this “extra” large yoga mat which immediately clicked with me, because I can’t tell you how many stretches or exercises I do that finds my knees or elbows hitting the hard floor instead of the cushy mat that my joints so badly need! This thing is heavy duty & stays put…like it’s not going to slide wherever you plant it. It’s “rubbery” but that’s a good thing…it’s just tacky enough for you to hold full body bridges with ease, but smooth enough for you to slide on when you need to. Double bonus…it doesn’t smell “rubbery” at all. Only drawback that I could see for some people is that it weighs about 10 pounds…I personally enjoy it because I start getting “warmed up” just bringing my gear from the car into the gym. I’ve been using it heavy duty and I haven’t seen any signs of degradation in the product yet which you generally see in inferior products after the “break-in” period. I have to say for anyone even contemplating that this mat is worth every dollar!

This is exactly what I wanted. It’s extra large and doesn’t slip on my hardwood floors. It is made with quality materials. It doesn’t have a lot of cushion but that’s not what I was looking for. I love it!

Almost exactly what I was looking for... except, I was hoping it was about a foot wider, wish it had some guides or hand foot placement markers, and would like it just a little bit thicker (with more cushion). With that said... and after order several other low-quality mats... I just want to say that I am very, very pleased with this mat!! I think it actually deserves 4.5 Stars. Great Buy!

Really enjoying this yoga mat. It has me on the mat much more often. Nice to mostly fit and the natural rubber is very grounding. Only con is I don’t feel like moving it around as often with it being larger
